In September 2007, VOSTOK-SERVICE celebrated its 15th year anniversary. In 1992, several Moscow Aviation Institute students came together to create a small supply firm that specialized in protective work gear and footwear for workers in labor-intensive industries. At that time, very few people believed that the enterprise would succeed.
Today, VOSTOK-SERVICE is a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of special clothing, footwear, and tools in the worker-protection market. It has a unique production base of its own (10 textile and footwear factories) and a powerful network of regional offices (more than 100 branches throughout CIS countries, Baltic and Asian regions), as well as over 260 retail stores.
Since VOSTOK-SERVICE purchased Cerva, a large Eastern European wholesale distributor of special wear, in October 2006, it has occupied first place in the market for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) not only in Russia but in Eastern Europe, as well.

During the past 15 years VOSTOK-SERVICE has achieved significant results. Further goals include strengthening its position in the East European market; opening up the Asian region; technical upgrading of the company’s assets to increase productive capacities and therefore, production output. All the efforts of significant are directed towards achieving the company’s basic aim — building up a culture of worker protection, making working environments safer, more efficient, comfortable and prestigious.
